A soulful New Orleans experience

Tucked in the heart of the Lower Garden District, Soulet Muse is an 1850s creole townhouse surrounded by New Orleans’ finest coffee shops, local bars, and unique retail stores. With exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and antique hardware–plus two lush courtyards–we combine New Orleans history with modern convenience in an intimate event space and guest house.

Events

Our courtyards offer two picturesque outdoor event spaces. The front courtyard opens to Magazine Street with ample space for gathering, while the back courtyard is more private and characterized by our trademark living plant wall, lush greenery, and twinkling bistro lighting. Inside, our first floor includes 1.5 bathrooms, spacious gathering areas, and easy access to both courtyards. Our large, custom-built island is ideal as a grazing table or for any catering needs.

The total event space is 3,500 sq ft., including the entire first floor and loft bedroom (2,000 sq ft.) and both courtyards (1,500 sq ft. of outdoor space). For cocktail-style events, we can seat up to 100 guests. Our wedding ceremonies can host up to 60 seated guests in the courtyard with ample standing room on the wraparound balcony, and our 20ft x 10ft stage is the perfect spot for musical performances. Weddings & receptions

From intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions to elopement parties and vow renewals, we do it all. Wedding packages include full building access, giving brides and grooms ample time to get ready with their I-do crews in one of our private suites—while offering vendors and coordinators time to set up for the special day. We host business and networking gatherings, birthday parties, graduation celebrations, musical performances, and more. photoshoots

From family portraits and graduation photos to engagement and pregnancy announcements, Soulet Muse has all your photoshoot needs covered. For an affordable hourly rate, you can enjoy a private photography session with access to both of our vibrant courtyards and all three of our suites for the entirety of your shoot. Rooms

(starting at $150/night)

Need a place for you or your guests to stay during an event? All three of our guest rooms feature open expanses with antique hardware, exposed brick, and custom wood flooring. An impressive mural of the French Quarter and stunning greenery surround the custom-built kitchen island in our grand, first-floor Proud Mary suite. Moving up the open, interior stairway is the Wildflower suite, characterized by its high ceilings, lush natural lighting, and trademark blue venetian plastered walls. Continuing to the third floor is our Mystic suite, defined by its bold red accents, custom-built bed frame, and private balcony view of the back courtyard.
